Managed and designed a mobile app from scratch, providing an end-to-end experience to help the organization better manage their programs, promote their community, and enhance volunteer participation.

  • Led weekly collaboration with 20 designers to identify and prioritize product issues, designed mechanisms to optimize team efficiency: user feedback resolving, design cross-checking, and competitor researching

  • Designed experiential prototypes for 3 main features on the viewing experience, paid subscription, and creator dashboard, resulting in 100 million weekly video views growth, more active users, higher average viewing time, and more posted content

  • Conducted user research through behavior data analysis and interviews, created personas for users from diverse geographic and socioeconomic backgrounds

  • Managed the design for 2 new product branches on long-video content and a mini-program ecosystem, attracting millions of new daily active users and thousands of 3rd-party mini-programs, making Kuaishou a convenient super app

  • Granted 2 patents on the design of video-related strategies in China

  • Designed the core user flow for posts, from post creating, to reading and interacting, helped Weibo sustainably grow from 300 million monthly active users to 500 million with a pleasing user experience

  • Optimized the information architecture for all users’ home feed, established information layers and improved structures continuously, increased refresh rate by 6%, and upscaled Weibo content consumption

  • Mentored 5 junior UX designers on design thinking and the practical application of methodologies in 4 main features of Weibo, and a social product in Saudi Arabia

  • Facilitated workshops, sharing sessions, and team-building activities in the design center to inspire and enhance collaboration among team members

  • Defined and improved search experience by designing user search flow, input suggestions, and differentiated result styles for particular query types, making our product the second-largest search engine in China

  • Designed search results and front page interfaces for 4 sub-platforms under 360 Search (Q&A, wiki, music, and maps), explored new search interactions for PC and mobile devices brought over 500% DAU growth

  • Participated in the design of 360 Search App and 360 Novel App from scratch, together with the search feature for several other 360 apps with tens of millions of users

  • Granted 9 graphic user interface patents in China and the U.S.
