About
Technical product designer. Expertise in scaling robust, accessible design systems across multi brand and enterprises.
I also design and build things on the side.
Curious about the intersection of accessibility, usability, and customer need. Although not a developer, I also know my way around a codebase!
At the moment, I'm currently at British Airways building out and maintaining our digital design systems.
I've worked on a wide range of products with a variety of clients, both startups and corporates, in a breadth of industries including: Startups, Food & beverage, Tourism, Fintech and the Public sector.
In my other life, you'll find me skiing! (In the winter)
Projects
I built a crowdsourced, cheap pint map for London and the UK
Work Experience
At BA, I work within BA Digital crafting digital experiences for the next generation of air travel. I've previously worked across the first step in our customers' journey known as "Discover" on both ba.com and the app. Now i'm situated in our design system team, creating and maintaining our digital design language. Our main focuses are on accessibility, scaleability and reusability of components and patterns across products.
Outside of my 9-5 I mentor budding product/ux designers helping with portfolio reviews, technical Figma help and mock interviews
In my freelance life I create: websites, brochures, pitch decks and pretty much anything else visual for freelance clients within the startup space. Clients include: Lucidica - IT Support, Redgrid - The internet of energy, Rydlyme International, Powerdiverter, Zilch Forwarding, Scope 3 emissions.
We're a small team at Red Bullet so I wear many hats. Sometimes I assist our clients through the various phases of UX, and others i'm creating success animations for apps. Mostly my day-to-day consists of wireframing, prototyping, user-testing, UI design & prepping for developer hand-off. Clients include: Haulfryn Holidays, Kent County Council & Basket - the next generation of e-commerce
